Painting "Turquoise Marin Kelp Forest"
This impressive painting was inspired by the underwater Kelp forests, large seaweeds that are home to a wonderful ecosystem.
Discovered through the documentary film "The Wisdom of the Octopus" directed by Craig Foster and awarded at the 2021 Oscars, it is particularly the South African Kelp Forest that was the source of inspiration.
The documentary film is a hymn to the beauty of nature but also a cry of alarm to protect it.
The discovery of the ocean, its depths, its colors and its atmosphere gave the artist the desire to immerse herself artistically and to deliver his feelings. Through the intertwining curves and the color palette of blues and greens and peaks of yellows and oranges dive into the heart of the Ocean.

About the Artist
Amaury Dubois 
Born in 1980 and originally from Lille in the North of France. The artist draws his inspiration from the world around us. With his so particular style, which he has named “Courbisme” and his exacerbated vision of reality, Amaury Dubois creates colourful contemporary artworks, rich in life and emotion. World-renowned, he has also carried out numerous large-scale projects, such as the largest contemporary fresco ever created in a church in France at Châtelaillon-Plage, the creation of custom-made frescoes for the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille and the use of one of his paintings for a McDonald’s advertising campaign.
